In this unit, different forms of poems are introduced. The students are required to learn about the features of different forms of poems as well as try to write simple poems and appreciate beautiful literature works. Teaching goals 1) Ability goals Enable the students to appreciate English poems.Enable the students to write simple poems.Improve the students’ writing ability. 2) Learning ability goals Help the students learn how to write and to appreciate poems. 3) Moral goals Enable the students to appreciate English poems. 4. Teaching difficult points How to enable the students to understand poems and do some simple poetry writing. 6.
