今天是圣诞节，我早早地起了床，看见床头有一袋板栗和一本书。我猜这一定是圣诞老人送我的礼物。我高兴得顾不上穿鞋，光着脚丫跑进了厨房，双手举着礼物给妈妈看。

Today is Christmas day. I got up early and saw a bag of chestnuts and a book at the head of the bed. I guess it must be a gift from Santa Claus. I was too happy to wear shoes. I ran into the kitchen barefoot and showed my mother presents with my hands.

妈妈笑眯眯地说：“圣诞老人怎么不送我礼物呀?”看来圣诞老人只喜欢小孩。想到这里，我得意洋洋地冲着妈妈笑了。

Mother smiled and said, "why doesnt Santa give me presents?" it seems that Santa only likes children. When I think of it, I smile at my mother.
