Everybody has the things that they fear, for me, I am afraid of standing in the high place.

So when we go hiking, my friends are enjoying standing around the side of the top, then look around the great scenery.

But I just stand back and don’t dare to look down.

It just makes feel falling.

I want to get over this feeling and be a brave girl.

I believe I can do it.

We often do not take much notice of the people around us who on public service jobs。 these people are train station workers， airline stewardess， firemen， policemen， bus drivers， taxi drivers and soldiers。

Only during some accident these people are then the first ones to come to our aid and sometimes at the risk of their own lives。 recently， i saw a big fire in a ten-story apartment house where firemen worked under great danger。 luckily in this case no one was hurt。 each of us have within us the essence of bravery available on our everyday job， or just going to school， or at home。 soldiers are called to show bravery in defending their country from aggression。

Sometimes during a national disaster such as an earthquake or typhoon soldiers are called to help show bravery and strength。

Last Sunday afternoon,Zhang Hua and his classmates were playing in a park.Suddenly,they heard someone calling for help.They ran there quickly and saw a little boy in the lake.It was very dangerous at that moment.The boy’s mother couldn’t swim.Zhang Hua jumped into the lake and saved the child.The boy’s mother was very grateful to him.People in the park said‘What a brave boy!’

Zhang Hua was happy that he helped the poor boy.He said‘We must be careful with the water.If we can’t swim,it may be very dangerous.’

He hair is short and eyes are bright. She likes reading so she has poor eyesight. She wears a pair of glasses with black edges, like a boy. I admire her because of her character, very frank and outspoken.

Her classmates were often offered by her. But she doesn’t care what her classmates think of her. As I knew her better and better, I found that Wenbo had a good sense of humor and she is fond of Jay Zhou as well. Her desk was covered with Jay’s pictures. She likes singing any time she likes. Her parents work in the government of Hangzhou. She went abroad alone. Now, Wenbo studies in Canada. When I e-mailed her to ask if she felt lonely and strange, she said certainly no and she would adapt herself to a new environment; besides, there are lots of Chinese students in her new school. You see, what a brave and optimistic girl!
