August 8th is a very good day because on this day, my brother and sister, along with me, set off for Beijing.

My first impression of Beijing was that it was big and lively. When we arrived at the Second Ring Road in Shaoxing, it was a bit deserted, while Beijing was still very lively in the Fourth Ring Road area. It truly deserves to be our capital. In five days, we visited the Temple of Heaven Park with the magical Echo Wall, the beautiful royal garden Summer Palace, the Old Summer Palace in the Garden of Ten Thousand Gardens, the Birds Nest and the Water Cube in the Theme Building of the Olympic Games in Beijing. We also took a rickshaw to shuttle through the long alleys in old Beijing, and visited the famous Drum Tower... We had a very full and happy life every day, but the most exciting thing for us was to climb the Great Wall. On the morning of the second day in Beijing, I woke up at six oclock because today I was going to climb the Great Wall and become a hero. We have arrived at the first pass of the Great Wall - Juyong Pass, and we are ready to climb the beacon tower. My brother and I wanted to climb the steepest one on the left side introduced by the tour guide aunt, but in the end, the minority followed the majority. We went to the beacon tower on the right side. Step by step, the terrain became steeper and steeper. When we were tired, we would sit on the steps and rest for a while. Occasionally, looking back, we were far from the starting point. It was really high and steep, and we couldnt help but be afraid. Arrived! Arrived! "There is a building at the top of the beacon. Standing there and looking into the distance, I noticed that the Great Wall has become one after another, undulating in the mountains, truly magnificent!
